Complete Collapse: Delhi Recap

Well there is no need to be overly dramatic about it, it is just cricket and not even Test.  That said, the Delhi Daredevils have had quite the terrible week. The Daredevils have had four matches and managed to lose each and every one of them and in doing so knocked themselves out of any playoff chance.  This is a team that was looking to come back from a disastrous campaign last season and they’ve managed to repeat that again in IPL 8.  Continue reading

500th IPL Match Recap: Rajasthan Royals v. Delhi Daredevils

The Daredevils travelled to the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai to take on the Rajasthan Royals this evening in the 500th match in Indian Premier League history.  Unfortunately, if you were tuning in in hopes of seeing some beautiful cricket from the Daredevils, you were sadly disappointed.  The match was filled with poor fielding and lackluster bowling from Delhi who to their credit did make it a much closer match in the end with their batting then it ought to have been.
